About Me:

I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and hold an MA in Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I am trained in several therapeutic modalities that directly help heal the effects of trauma. I am originally from California and have lived in Cornelius for 22 years. I live with my husband of 27 yrs., we have one daughter attending college. I can’t wait to meet you! All of us have experienced some type of trauma in our lives and depending on the severity, it can reign havoc on our bodies and minds. I am here to help you process that trauma so your whole being can feel emotionally regulated and empowered.

Ideal Client:

Although I enjoy diversity and different client personalities and struggles, I suppose the ideal client for me wants change. They long for purpose and meaning in their life. There's a voice inside of them saying there's more to this; you have one life, is this how you want to live it? This client truly wants to know themselves, stretch themselves and be the best they can be. This client comes to counseling with an open mind, open heart, and the desire to collaborate and work as a team with their counselor. We all struggle from time to time, some of us much more than others, this client understands the power is within and comes to counseling to unleash that power.

What you can expect from me:

On this counseling journey I will listen to your story with an open heart, be flexible, honest and respectful, and encourage you to find your voice.
